of course, I could not talk about bridal fashion without mentioning the launch of my bridal brand ANGE MARIAGE. I launched Ange in November 2022. It took me 4 years after my graduation from fashion and textiles to figure out how I will develop my graduation project into a fashion line that will offer something new in the fashion world. long story short, I took the graduation line that was based on hand-painted silks and transformed it into a bridal brand that introduces a touch of colour in the wedding dress ( see the full collection Love Birds through: www.angemariage.com).
- From hand-painted silks to colourful beading under layers of white silk organza, Ange is all about a simple and modern bridal look that is so soft, romantic and feminine.
Tips on a colourful bridal look:
- you don't want to turn into a walking garden! be careful with colour distribution and the shades that you wear on your skin tone. for pale skin tones ivory and yellows look awesome! while purples and silvers look attractive on more tanned skin tones
- do not neglect the choice of your accessories, from veils, hair clips, flowers and tiaras try to match the hue of your dress and add a hint of the colour it has here and there.
- consider gold and dusty rose hues for the whole gown instead of traditional whites.
- colourful embroidery and beading are also so in this year.
Just before you start thinking I invented colour in the bridal line LOL, A colourful bridal gown is the next hot trend in the bridal fashion world. Designers like Ines Di Santo are particularly in love with blue shades in the wedding dresses of 2023. is it maybe because there should be something borrowed and something blued?
Apparently, I'M lOVING Ines Di Santo's designs so much that I added two of her designs to this post. Do not hesitate to mix and match fabrics in one dress and experiment with textures. a lace corset is never out of style and it highlights your waist beautifully, so in order to make it a little bit more modern and not your grandma's wedding dress pick a gown with a simple crepe skirt.
Lace Land
I do not want to say that lace is just old and boring in 2023. Because let's face it when it comes to the bridal gown we all love a vintage, timeless and even traditional touch. However, 2023 has a new lace-like feel for you that is not lace fabric and yet gives the same timeless effect. Designers like Elie Saab and Reem Acra replaced the traditional lace with floral print fabrics that have a more modern lace effect.

Transparent tulle gloves have been so popular for a while. Everyday we see new additions to them that iare turning them into essential bridal accessories for a dreamy , fairytale look.
-In my first collection for Ange '' Love Birds"' I made the beaded, organza feathers gloves an essential piece in the bridal wardrobe. ( all the accessories of Ange's first collection are available online on the website).
- Brides probably shy away from short wedding dresses, especially if the ceremony is big. I am telling you, no need to worry about that anymore as it is the next hot trend in the bridal world! however, if u are still unsure, but really love short dresses consider a second bridal look that consists of a modern and fun short dress. It's also a plus for less-restricted dance moves!
